Welcome to Mini Hippo Land, where our dogs are family and every puppy is raised with intention, care, and heart. What started as a lifelong love for animals has grown into a carefully curated breeding program focused on health, temperament, and lifelong companionship.

Our journey includes years of hands-on experience in wildlife rescue, operating under state and federal permits to house and rehabilitate raptors such as hawks and owls. That experience shaped everything we do today — it taught us responsibility, ethics, and the importance of doing things the right way, even when it takes more time and effort.

At Mini Hippo Land, all of our puppies are raised indoors in our home, surrounded by daily life, children, and other animals. They receive constant handling, early socialization, and individualized attention from the moment they are born. We focus on producing well-adjusted, confident companions with excellent temperaments and strong foundations.

Health and transparency are at the core of our program. Each puppy receives a comprehensive nose-to-tail veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, a USDA health certificate when applicable, and a two-year genetic health guarantee. We work closely with trusted veterinarians and stay educated on breed-specific health considerations to ensure our puppies are set up for long, healthy lives.
