Here, our puppies grow up surrounded by nature, swimming in our pond, enjoying lakeside adventures, and living a lifestyle as extraordinary as the families they one day join.

With over a decade of experience in animal care — from running state- and federally permitted wildlife rescues to raising raptors and leading a dog rescue program — our life’s work has always been devoted to the well-being of animals. Mini Hippo Land was founded to share something truly rare: a companion unlike any other, nurtured with unmatched dedication and sophistication.

Our signature Mini Hippo puppies are a carefully curated cross of the Chinese Shar-Pei and Cocker Spaniel — blending loyalty, intelligence, and charm into one unforgettable breed. Alongside these distinctive companions, we now offer purebred Chinese Shar-Pei and Cocker Spaniels, raised with the same devotion and care.

Every puppy is raised in our home as part of our family, with early socialization, enrichment, and tailored training from the very start. From crate introductions to potty training and even drifting off to sleep with calming classical music, every detail is considered. Daily cuddles on the sofa, playful exploration in our wooded yard, and exposure to everyday experiences ensure that each pup is confident, well-adjusted, and ready to thrive.
